In the spirit of continuing to build community throughout Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) at Oregon State, we are proud to be launching an organization for members of FSL that also identify as part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum! As a member of the Greek community, especially part of a traditionally housed or single-gender chapter, it can be tricky to navigate queerness in a traditionally heteronormative environment. This is part of our effort to build community among individuals that identify as part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum that are also fraternity and sorority members here at Oregon State. The vision for this group is to create space and opportunity to build community for individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

After a very successful first gathering in March, a new group in the community called ‘FSL Pride’ will be starting to form! If you have members who are interested, email Emma Tornberg at tornbere@oregonstate.edu so they can get connected.
