Housing: Shelter is a basic need, and housing problems can directly and indirectly affect students in a variety of ways. Students are more susceptible to housing issues because of their vulnerable position, with many away from home for the first time; unscrupulous landlords or roommates can also take advantage of students' inexperience and other vulnerabilities. At the HSRC, we have programs to help students with housing-related concerns. In addition, we can offer referrals to other helpful services.
If you anticipate a housing issue, or are currently experiencing one, please contact us by email at email@example.com or call us at (541) 737-3747.
The HSRC Resource Manual has many options available for financial assistance and even resources for homelessness. PDF version of manual.
Eviction: Eviction can have a serious impact on someone’s life. ASOSU can help with any issues you may experience regarding eviction with the Office of Legal Advocacy. The Office of Legal Advocacy provides students with free legal help and is more than qualified to help you with your eviction issues. Please call Patricia Lacy at 541-737-9200 or email her office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
