Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) is located in 102 Waldo Hall and welcomes all students at Oregon State University. ASC is a student-centered, friendly place where students can come for assistance and to get questions answered. Services include the following:

  • Academic Coaching—well trained peer coaches can help students achieve academic success
  • Academic Learning Services (ALS) —ALS offers courses supporting student success (Academic Success, Career Decision Making) as well as orientation and skills development
  • Peer Education Training—The ASC offers training for tutors, Supplemental Instruction leaders, and academic coaches
  • Summer Bridge Experiences—The ASC is home to the BEST Summer Bridge Program for student athletes and to the September Scholars Bridge Program which assists students with transitioning to the University
  • Supplemental Instruction—offers group study table support for challenging courses
  • University Exploratory Studies Program—advising for students who have decided to explore a variety of majors
  • Writing Center— one-on-one assistance with grammar, structure, brainstorming and more for any level of writing
  • Information and Referral—Just stop by with your questions or needs and ASC will connect you to the right office

Career Services
The mission of Career Services is “to empower, support, and nurture OSU students and alumni in their exploration and pursuit of lifelong career success and meaningful employment in a diverse world”.
Career Services attends to career development and the process of finding meaningful work, as well as all phases of the job search process.  Come to Career Services if you need to...

Disability Access Services  
If you have a documented disability then you can register with OSU’s Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS can provide accommodations including notetakers, quiet spaces for test taking, e-texts of required reading and more.
