Carol comes to Oregon State University from the University of Oregon, where she served as Senior Equal Opportunity Specialist tasked with investigating and adjudicating student-to-student reports of sexual misconduct. Prior to this, Carol served as the Assistant Dean of Student Conduct for the University of Nevada, Reno where she also received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology-College Student Development. During her time at UNR, she gained national recognition for her collaborative work with campus and community partners in the implementation of various evidence-based strategies that addressed the misuse and abuse of alcohol and drugs by college students.
Carol is a long time Student Services professional, committed to collaborative efforts to build and maintain campus environments that are safe, fair and supportive of recruiting, retaining and graduating students. Carol is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, running half marathons and attending sporting events with her husband and two sons.
